The Lost and Found Pet Network enables people who’s pet has wandered off, a way to quickly and safely notify volunteers within the area they live in, that their pet has gone missing and requests them to be on the lookout for their pet. A description of the pet is provided, and if available, picture(s) of the pet can also be provided. Volunteers can contact the pet owner through the web site, the pet owner’s email address is kept private.
2. The Lost and Found Pet Network also enables people who have found a stray pet a way to quickly and safely notify volunteers within the area they live in, that they have found a stray pet. A description of the pet is provided, and if available, picture(s) of the pet can also be provided.Volunteers can contact the person, that found the stray pet, through the web site. The email address of the person who found the stray pet is kept private.

How do I submit an announcement to the Lost and Found Pet Network?
1. To submit a Lost Pet Announcement or Found Stray Pet Announcement you must be registered , registration is free, Lost and Found Pet Network is a free service.
2. Fill out the appropriate form with the information about the pet and any recent pictures you may have.
3. The announcement is reviewed to make sure it is not SPAM, but an actual lost or found pet announcement. Once validated, an email is sent to all Lost and Found Pet Network volunteers who live within a ten mile radius of your zip code.

How do you protect my personal information?

What do I do as a volunteer?
If you volunteer, your name is added to an email list. You will only receive emails for announcements of lost or found pets that are within a ten mile radius of your zip code.
1. If you receive an email notifying you about a lost pet, it is requested that you view the announcement and be on the lookout for the pet. To contact the person who submitted the announcement, there is a form on the announcement page that you can fill out and send.
2. If you receive an email notifying you of a found stray pet, it is requested that you view the announcement and if the pet belongs to someone you know, let the person know. To contact the person who submitted the announcement, there is a form on the announcement page that you can fill out and send.
