How to use Advanced Search

1. Click "Adv. Search" on NavBar.



2. On top left side, under "Search Type:", you'll notice that "Quick Search" is selected, click "Advanced Search" Radio button.



3. Under "Search For", type in what you are searching for.



4. There are three ways to search:



1. You can search by city or zip code, the adjacent radio button should already be selected, if not go ahead and click it. You can search an individual zip code, or an entire city. By entering a city/state combination,  you are actually searching multiple zip codes because cities usually have more than one zip code. You can also enter an asterisk to search all cities.



2. To search by state or territory, click the adjacent radio button and select the state or territory you want to search, by clicking on the Drop-down Menu.



3. To search by distance, click the adjacent radio button. Distance is measured in a radius pattern from the zip code (located in the center of the radius pattern). Example, if you enter 50 miles and find items you are searching for, be aware that the actual driving distance can be more because the radius pattern measures distance between two points in a straight line, whereas roads will twist and turn increasing the actual driving distance.



5. Select the price range of the item you are searching for. To search all items, regardless of price, set "FM" price to $0 and "To" price to "No Limit" (these are the defaults and should already be set to these values). The "To" price cannot be equal to or less than the "Fm" price.



6. Any ads matching your criteria are displayed in summary format. To see the entire ad, click on the ad title or thumbnail (thumbnail will be present if ad has at least one picture).
